Remote design review and quote path
How Our Online Custom Cabinet Process Works
Last Closet works best when the inquiry is organized before pricing. Share your room list, measurements, floor plans, photos, inspiration images, preferred materials, and storage priorities so our team can review the scope before preparing a cabinet recommendation.
Early conversations should use a practical budget range. A detailed line-item quote is prepared after drawings, dimensions, finish direction, hardware, shipping scope, and approval details are clear.
The fastest quote path starts with a clear scope: which rooms are included, approximate dimensions, layout constraints, appliances, storage goals, preferred door style, finish direction, and any deadline or delivery requirement.

01. Share Your Scope, Measurements and References

Send the room list, rough measurements, floor plans, site photos, ceiling height, appliance notes, inspiration images, and the areas that matter most for storage. A simple sketch is enough to start. If anything is missing, our team will tell you exactly what to add before we move into quote preparation.

02. Choose Door Style, Materials and Hardware Direction

Share the style direction you want: Shaker, slab, fluted, arched, painted, wood veneer, matte, high-gloss, warm oak, deep navy, or another finish direction. Hardware preferences, drawer systems, hinges, handles, and sample requirements should be discussed before final pricing.
For material planning, compare our materials and certifications page before confirming the final finish direction.
03. Receive Design Review and Budget Range

After we review your measurements and project scope, we help clarify the layout, storage logic, cabinet categories, finish direction, and likely cost drivers. At this stage, the right output is usually a realistic budget range, not a final line-item quote.
Once drawings, dimensions, materials, hardware, and shipping scope are confirmed, we can prepare a more detailed quote for approval.
04. Review Drawings, Materials and Every Approval Detail

Before production, review the layout, dimensions, door style, finish, storage accessories, hardware, delivery notes, and any installation constraints. Revisions are expected before approval. The goal is to make the order traceable so drawings, materials, finish samples, quote changes, and production decisions are aligned.
Nothing should move into production until the final scope is approved in writing.
05. Confirm Quote, Terms and Deposit

When the design and scope are ready, we confirm the formal quote, specifications, finish selections, production timeline, shipping scope, payment terms, and change-order rules. This keeps the project clear before manufacturing starts.
The detailed quote should match the approved drawings, confirmed materials, hardware, and room-by-room scope.

Custom Cabinet Process FAQ
Can custom colors, panels, or special materials be specified?
Yes. We can review custom colors, panel textures, finishes, door profiles, hardware, and sample needs. For faster approval, compare the materials and certifications page and send reference images with your inquiry.
Can you quote different options based on my budget?
Yes. Early conversations can use practical budget ranges so you can compare options. A detailed line-item quote should come after drawings, measurements, materials, hardware, and delivery scope are confirmed.
Can I check progress or make adjustments during production?
We can provide production updates and factory photos. Design changes should be completed before production approval. After production starts, any change needs to be reviewed as a documented change order because materials and manufacturing may already be committed.
Are cabinets supplied with hardware? Can I choose a brand?
Yes. Hardware can be included in the quote, and specified brands can be reviewed before approval. Confirm hinges, drawer slides, handles, organizers, and any special accessories before final pricing.
Can one inquiry cover kitchens, closets, vanities, and storage walls?
Yes. Last Closet can review a whole-house scope covering kitchens, closets, vanities, laundry rooms, pantries, entry storage, TV walls, and other built-in cabinet areas. Use project case studies to clarify the style and room scope.
What happens if measurements or site conditions change?
Send photos, videos, revised measurements, and site notes as soon as possible. We will review the cause, confirm whether drawings or parts are affected, and recommend the next step before installation continues.
